Ti:Sapphire ( Titanium-doped sapphire, Ti:Al2O3)

Ti:Sapphire crystals combine supreme physical and optical properties with extremely broad lasing range.  It is the most widely used tunable solid-state laser material. Its lasing bandwidth can support pulses as short as sub-10fs making it the crystal of choice for femtosecond mode-locked oscillators and amplifiers.  The absorption band of Ti:Sapphire centers at 490 nm so it may be conveniently pumped by various sources such as argon ion lasers or frequency doubled Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Nd:YVO4 lasers.

We can provide  large (φ120 x 80mm) Ti:Sapphire crystals oriented along (0001) axis with high doping level, high gain, and high damage threshold.  The surfaces of Ti:Sapphire crystals can be cut at the Brewster angle to eliminate the reflection loss.
