RTP (Rubidium Titanyl Phosphate, RbTiOPO4 )

For electro-optical application, RTP does not induce piezo-electric ringing with electrical signals up to the MHz range. More over, its has large E-O coefficients,  high electrical resistivity, and high damage threshold  making it an excellent material for E-O Q-switch at high repetition rates.

RTP crystal may also be used for second harmonic generation of ~ 1 µm or in optical parametric processes to generate 3 µm radiation.
